About:

I learnt that there are not direct train services from Shanghai to either Guillin or Kunming.

Can anyone help me with the train information, soft sleeper price from SH to Guillin or to Kunming, schedules, and connecting route information? Thanks.

No, it is not true. Trains to both of the cities are available.

To Guilin, five are available (four ordinary and one bullet one). The schedules respectively are 08:45, 10:06 (bullet), 16:06, 16:29 and 17:01. Different trains have different prices. But the ticket fare of soft sleeper is no more than CNY537 per adult.

To Kunming, three are available from South Railway Station. The schedules are 16:29, 18:35 and 19:35. The ticket fare is no more than CNY822.5.
