About:China Tourist Visa

Extend from student visa to tourism type

I have student type now, but it will expire soon. Can I apply for tourism type without leaving China?

Nicky, I think the best solution for you is try to extend the X type. If it can't be done, you can try to apply for an L type at the local exit and entry administration department.
