About:Changsha Huanghua International Airport

Long Transit stay in Changsha (13 h)

Our flight is from bkk (Bangkok) to fra Frankfurt transit CS city. They changed our departure in bkk from 18:30 to 6:30. The connect flight from CS stay at 0:05. So we have more than 13 hours stopover. If I understand right CS has no transit visa? Is there any possibility for relaxed stay? Hotel or something else?

Yes, this airport is excluded from the 72 hours transit visa. But you can apply for a 24 hours stay permit there if you want to go out. Anyway, I can tell you that the Airport Hotel inside the airport is available for your convenience.

Well, if your stopover is less than 24 hours, you don't need to have a visa, which means you can go shopping and have meals inside the airport. But if you wanna go out of the airport and tour around city downtown, you need to apply for a 24 hours stay permit at the airport.

If your stopover is more than 24 hours, you need to have China Visa. You can apply for it in your country in advance.
