F type time limit

Hi

My partner wants to go to China on a single entry F type to study kung fu. He wants to go for 3 1/2 months. Will this be possible or can he only stay for 3 months because of the visa restrictions?

Thanks

Hi Sarah! Where will you partner learn Chinese Kung Fu, a school? I think he need to apply for the X2 type, which normally has a validity of no more than 180 days.
