Z type and S1 type entry permits

Hello, My wife has recently accepted a teaching position at the Shanghai American School. We live in Prague and will be moving directly to Shanghai from here in July. The school has notified us that she will need a Z type and my son and I will need S1 tourist type. We have all our original documents with us here in Prague. ie birth certs, wedding certs, etc). As a US citizen, could we please receive these visas from the consulate here in Prague? The school in Shanghai is also willing to send all documentation here as well. I look forward to your response.
