About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

I'll be in transit for 6 hours in PVG

I'm planning to travel on standby from chicago to PVG then leaving on a standby flight 6 hours after my arrival in PVG to Sydney

I will have a ticket number as one is issued during my purchase of a Zed
but will it suffice to make me eligible to receive TWOV. Or should I just prepare to remain in transit lounge?

Magpie, I think if you want to receive the TWOV, you should hold a ticket to Sydney with a confirmed seat and date. Otherwise, you may be rejected to enter China.
