Backpacking through China.

Hi,

I want to backpack through china. I don't want to make too many plans in advance and I will be wanting to book the train via Russia once I am in China. I have read a lot about the visa however one thing I can not grasp is: do i need to show my ticket for the exit trip of china? How much info regarding my trip through China is enough to grant me the entry permit?

1. Yes, you need to show your ticket for the exit trip during your application. 2. In addition to the round-trip tickets, you should also provide the hotel booking records. It's not necessary to list all the hotels you will stay in, 2/3 or so will be enough.
