About:China Visa Entries / Validity / Duration of Stay

So what if I want to stay longer than 30 days how long of an extension can I get?

Also can I just get a whole new visa if I leave and come right back?

Erich, the extension period is no longer than your duration of stay in your visa. If duration of stay is 30 days, then you can get another 30 days extension period. In this case, you needn't exit China. It's also ok if you exit before your current one expires and apply a new one outside of China.
