About:Chinese Temporary Residence Permit

cancellation resident permit

i'm italian and i came to china with the intention to study in shanghai one year but i found a job and after this semester i have to stop my studies and so to cancel my resident permits, that for the record will expire anyway in march. the problem is after the cancellation of my resident permit what's gonna happen? i will change my visa with a business one but i will live in the same apt.

hope to have explain well my situation :D

Rachele, you should apply for a Z type instead of M type if you plan to work legally. M type is for business activities. It's illegal to work with a M type. In your case, you should ask your empoyer to help you apply for a Z type. In order to apply it, you should get back to your own country. It's impossible to apply without leaving.

Thnks for your reply ! But I can't apply for a z visa because I need at least 2 years of work experience after graduation so I can just apply for an m type as visitors for business... Thank u again for your reply :)
