About:Chinese Embasy in Ireland

can i apply for a chinese passport when i am an irish citizen?

My father was chinese and my mother was Irish. I was born in Ireland. I want to go see family in China and am not sure if i am eligable for a chinese passport

Since you are not Chinese citizen, the embassy will not issue you a Chinese passport. If you want to come to China, you have to apply for a visa.
