Guangzhou Airport from The Second Worker's Cultural Palace Metro Station

is is possible to use a train from The Second Worker's Cultural Palace Metro Station to the airport? i am staying at Haizhu Hotel which is very close to the metro station. i wanted to find out if a train is an option or i should just stick to taxis. also roughly how much will a taxi cost from the airport to this hotel roughly ?
