About:Chinese Embassy in Australia

What type of visa should I apply for visiting my family in this Chinese new year?

and how long will it take to get granted. I born in China and obtained Australia citizenship in 2013. Cheers

How long are you planning to stay with your parents? If you just go there to spend Chinese New Year Holiday, I think a single entry L type is ok. Just ask your Chinese family to send you an invitation letter and a copy of their ID cards, then you can easily get the L type.
