About:China Customs Declaration

Does the cross border monetary regulation apply to Chinese nationals who travel out of China? i.e.

are they restricted to the RMB 20,000 limit when carrying the cash physically crossing the border? Is there an official government website that publishes this information? If so, can you please provide the link? Many Thanks!

I heard it also works on the border. You'd better not take the risk of taking much more of 20,000 Yuan.
