About:China Transit Visa

does a indian need to apply for it when travelling via Guangzhou with a stopover of 13hrs

hi i am a indian passport holder and travelling from los angeles to india via giangzhou...i have a stopover of 13hrs...do i require a transit visa to board flight from los angeles....
please let me know

Hi Jignesh, as the 24 hour free transit facillity is available to you, you don't need to apply for the G type.

If the airline says you can't board, you can try to persuade it by providing information about the free transit posted on official websites of Chinese embassy. If it doesn't work, the airline decides whether you can board.
