UK citizen in Australia - visa application procedure

I am a UK citizen living in Australia. I am visiting China for 6 weeks and would like to know where I should send my application to? Will the Australian system also process my application? As if I am required to send it to the UK it may be subject to delays and this may hinder my travel plans.

You should send your application to one of the CVASC branches in Australia. As you are not Austrlian citizen, you should additionally include the original and photocopy of your resident permit in the application materials.
