Annie, you need to apply for the Mainland Travel Permits for Taiwan Residents. There are two ways. First, you come to HK and find CTS and ask them to help you apply for it. Or you may ask some local travel agencies if they are capable of helping you apply one. You need to sign an application form, which can be downloaded from the CTS website and submit your ID card (front and back sides) and a recent photo (3.5*5.3cm) together with your application form.
