air polution in baoding?

Hi I'm considering moving to work and live in BD but I have told by friends that there are cities in China where the air is so polluted (i.e. Shanghai). Could anyone please let me know how good or bad is the air there? Thank you!

Well, generally speaking, the weather condition is this city is not bad. About the smog, it often appears from Jan. to March. After that, the situaiton becomes better. If you still don't feel comfortable, you can wear masks and reduce the outdoor activities. Besides, there are also many plans proposaled by offiicials that try to improve the air environment.So don't worry.
