Inquiry the route and transporation to Yabuil resort

Hello everyone, We are going to the ski resort. But, I don't know the suitable transportation (bus or train) and route (from starting where to stop where) to go YBL from Harbin Institute of Technology, second campus, HaGongDa station. We are thinking to run this visit from early morning to till evening, i mean only one day, is it possible? I never traveled in China else my HIT campus and cannot speak and read Chinese. So, Hope somebody tell me how to start the traveling to YBL with following a few questions.
1. If train transportation, do I need to buy ticket in advance and how long ; what different time is available for starting journey; where to buy the ticket, from online or somewhere? And which train station run this route, i mean North station or city center Station. So, please kindly describe me in detail.
2. If bus route, where can I get ticket for that, how long have to buy in advance and which bus number must take to get that bus stop from my university campus. if possible, please describe the price which can cost for transportation.
3. Generally, how much we can cost at the resort, entrance fee or hiring ski equipments with very lowest price for only short time.
