How much cash can I carry back to China from England

Hi I am a Chinese national living in England.i plan to travel back to China for 3 months to see my family,how much cash (English currency) can I take with me into China

According to the regulation, one is allowed to take into no more than 5,000USD into China. With other types of foreign currency, the total value should be less than 5,000USD. Based on the present rate, it should be 4,181 Euros.
