i will be traveling from chengdu to guangzhou on january 23, is there a fast bullet train available and how long is the trip?

No High Speed ones are available, only with the normal ones. It will take 28 hours at least.  You can check the tickets availability on the website to make the booking, then they will contact you by email.

You can travel to Guiyang (K types),it takes 13 hours,but you can buy a sleeper ticket so that you will not fell that a long time.Then you can buy D types trains ticket in Guiyang.It takes about 4 to 5.5 hours to Guangzhou.
