wants my mom to come with double entry tourist visa

hi everyone,so i want my mom stay for couple months in China.we tried to get the double entry type.so after 2 months stay in mainland she fly to Hongkong and back at the same day.on her second entry she will stay another 2 months.does this svenario work?thanks!

It is possible to do that. If so, you can write her an invitation letter including the duration you want her to stay. With it, the staff may consider to issue your mother a double entry one.
