How to extend visa?

Hello my name is Nina.When my Mom is travelling in China, she lost her documents including her passport after finding the visa issue is expired.Help us

Have you applied for the issuance of a new passport?

If so, when you receive your new passport, you need to go to the he local Exit and Entry Administration Bureau and state the situation to the officer there and extend your L type.

If you have not applied for a new passort yet, then follow the instructions: firstly, immediately go to the nearest police station for reporting the loss of passport. Continue to visit the local Exit and Entry Administration Bureau for a lost report about your L type. Then, you should go to your country's nearest embassy or consulate. The officers will help you to register the procedure of losing passport and apply for a new one. Finally, upon receiving your new passport, go to the he local Exit and Entry Administration Bureau and extend your L type.

Thank you,for your reply,but i must explain the situation my Mom already find her passport after requests to taxi companys,and when she got her passport,the visa date is expired,what we should do in this situation
