About:Chinese New Year

Follow up to my previous question about travel from Beijing to Guilin during spring festival

Thank you for the info about options for traveling. High speed train seems to be the way to go; however, i am a bit concerned whether they will be running during festival time and those dates specifically? FEB 19 - FEB 21, 2015?

Oh, it's Spring Festival Holiday. On a regular basis, tourist sites in Guilin will hold some interesting activities to attract tourists. Of course, tourists might get some discount if they go there. Locals might perform lion and dragon dances to celebrate Spring Festival. If you were lucky, you would have encountered the performances.
