About:Chinese Embassy in Nepal

how to apply for the tourist visa for mainland china?

i am a nepali passport holder and i want to visit china mainland in order to travel. i am in nepal at present. what procedures do i need to follow, what documents do i require to provide and whom should i contact?

You should apply from Chinese embassy in Nepal. The required documents are your passport, completed application form, a recent passport photo, your passport, copies of previous entry records to China (if you have), invitation letter from Chinese individual or organization, travel itinerary and your personal information letter.

If you don't have the invitation letter, you should provide round-trip air tickets and hotel booking orders.

thankyou so very much for the information. and i wanted to ask...em....how long does it take for the processing of the visa?and how much is the cost for normal L type?

If often takes four working days for the processing and the normal L type for single entry costs 2200 rupees.
