Which section of wall would you like to visit? For Badaling, you can take subway line 1 from Wangfujing to Fuxingmen, where transfer to line 2 2 to Xizhimen and walk to Beijing North Train Station. Then you can take a direct train to reach. For Mutianyu,  walk to Dongdan Lukou North to take bus no. 106 to Dongzhimen and take bus no. 916快 (express) or 916 to Huairou Bus Station first and then rent a car to your destination. For Chinese Restaurants, you can go and find on Wangfujing Pedestrian, which can be easily reached by subway line 1. As I know, there is New Year countdown at the Place on that day. It is located at no. 9, Guanghua Road, Chaoyang District.
