About:Jinshanling Great Wall

Bus from Wangjing West Train Station

Hi there.
Can you advise about catching the public bus from Wangjing West Subway Station to Jinshanling, if this is an option as of 2025? Travel from Dongzhimen is only feasible on the weekends.

Wangjing West station doesn’t have bus to Jinshanling. You need to transfer to Dongzhimen stop for bus 980 Express, and then take bus Mi 25 + taxi to the scenic area.

All Jinshanling travel guides I have read confirm as you have said, on weekends, to catch a tourist bus from Dongzhimen Station. Although I hope to visit on the weekdays.

I am a bit confused, because I saw online,
'There are tourist buses and coaches departing from close to Wangjing West Subway Station that take you either directly to the entrance of Jinshanling Great Wall or the Jinshanling Service Area'.

Is this the same tourist bus as the one from Dongzhimen Station? I'm thinking it maybe, and then, is only available on weekends, not weekdays?

Sorry, Cake, I didn’t find any direct bus to Jinshanling departing from Wangjing West.
