About:China Tourist Visa

Do I need to apply for L visa? or is it "VOA" for Beijing?

I am from India. i m planning to Visit Beijing for 3 days on a vacation..

I'm afraid you cannot apply for VOA type in Beijing. In your situation, I think you can apply for an L type.
