About:China Tourist Visa

Does an invitation letter from the host farm suffice? What precisely must the letter contain?

Hi. I'm going to participate in the WWOOF Program. I will travel to Lianjiang, Zhanjiang where I will stay for the totally of my 1 month visa period, excluding the couple of days I will transit at Xiashan, Zhanjiang. What precisely would I need to do?

Hi, Raul, in addition to the invitation letter, you need to submit your passport and the photocopy of its photo page and an application form affixed with a passport size photo.

The letter should contain the following information: 1)your personal information (full name, gender, date of birth, etc.); 2) information on the planed visit (purpose of visit, arrival and departure dates, place(s) to be visited, relations between the applicant and the inviting entity or individual, financial source for the visit); 3) information on the inviting entity or individual (name, contact number, address, official stamp, signature of the legal representative or the inviting individual).

You should go to the nearest Chinese embassy or consulate general and submit the required documents to apply for an F type.
