About:Embassy & Consulates of Thailand in China

can i apply for thai visa by mail?or someone else can submit my documents for me?

i am pakistani passport holder studying in china.i wish to visit thailand in january.the city where i am stying( urumqi xinjiang)is very far from thai embassy beijing so i want to know which one is the easy way to apply instead of i go to embassy by myself.
1=can i mail my all documents to thai embassy and i can get it or not?
2=my friend he living in bejing he can submit my application ?
3=is this possible i can apply at any thai consulate all over the china which is near to my city or i should need to go beijing.this is my sencond time for application.before i have been to thailand.and how long time it will take to get it?

1. You cannot mail your materials to the embassy for application or enrust your friend to submit the application for you.

2. There are 8 Thai consulates all over China. However, only the one in Kunming is in charge of Xinjiang residents' application. And Kunming is not nearer than Beijing embassy.

Therefore, I think the best way would be consulting the Thai embassy with your situation first. If it's troublesome, then entrust a travel agency in Urumqi with the application affair. It often takes three workdays to get it.
