Can i get visa in Hong kong airport to visit Guangzhou?

i am going to Hong Kong For 3 days from taipei and back.
I would like to go to Guanzhou for one day.

I am British Citizen

You can try to apply a single entry Tourist L through the tour agency in the airport. I saw many people did it successfully.
