Do I need to transfer my own luggage in Shanghai Pudong airport?

Hello,
I am flying in from CDG airport to PVG through Air France and then transferring to Qantas on a flight to Sydney Kingsford. Will I need to collect and transfer my lugagge? What is the usual transferring procedure? Thanks.

Yes, you need to collect and reclaim your luggage on your own at PVG. The regular transferring procedure is as follows:
flight arriving - boarding pass/quarantine/immigration - luggage claiming - arrival hall - go to 3F for boarding
