Hi I am a british passport holder withour a Swiss working permit get a Chinese business visa

I am travelling to Zurich on the 21st of of December and I've left it to late to get a M type for China in the UK , can I apply and get one in bern or Zurich while I'm over for the Xmas & new year holidays because I wont have time when I get back to London because I arrive on the 2nd and I'm scheduled to leave on the 6th to Shanghai.
