hi i am a british passport holder withour a swiss working permit get a chinese business

Question

I am travelling to Zurich on the 21st of of December and I've left it to late to get a M type for China in the UK , can I apply and get one in bern or Zurich while I'm over for the Xmas & new year holidays because I wont have time when I get back to London because I arrive on the 2nd and I'm scheduled to leave on the 6th to Shanghai.

According to Chinese embassy in Switzerland, non-Swiss people should hand in their valid resident permits (both copy and original versions) if they plan to apply in Switzerland. Those who hold G type resident permits are not allowed to apply there. If you don't have the resident permit, I don't think you can apply for a M type in Switzerland.
