About:China Visa Application in USA

Traveling to China

Two of co-workers will be traveling to China at the end of January: One co-worker is an Italian citizen, working and living in the US with a 5 year visa: The other co-worker is a US Citizen that has a valid passport already. What are the steps that we need to make for this trip to China?

Both of them just need to go to the nearby embassy/consulate to make the application directly.
For the USA passport holder, he needs to provide the valid passport, an application form, a recent taken photo, the hotel bookings and round trip tickets for applying.

For the Italian person, he needs to prepare the valid passport, an application form, a recent taken photo, the hotel bookings, round trip tickets, his resident permit in USA to make the application.
