If you plan to apply in South Korea, the ARC with at least 6 months validity is needed.

In South Korea, you need to apply at the nearby CVASC. The fee for a single entry type is 55,000 Korean Won, 73,000 for double entry, 90,000 for multiple entry valid for half a year and 125,000 for multiple entry valid for a year.

Is it absolutely necessary that it's 6 months? My expires June 12, 2015. I'm hoping I don't need to send my passport back to Canada.
