About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Can I use the 72 hour transit free visa from LAX to Guangzhou to Hong Kong to LAX?

I need to get to Guangzhou for a last minute meeting. It's too late to get a entry permit. Can i purchase a ticket from LAX to Guangzhou and then to either Hong Kong or Seoul and then back to LAX?

How long will you stay in Guangzhou? If you stay there for less than 72 hours, you can try to enjoy the 72-hour free transit to attend the meeting. In order to enjoy that, you can travel to HK or Seoul and then back to your country.
