Macau extension by U-Turn

After a tourist stay of 30 days in Macau on Philippines Passport, I know you can make a U-turn extension by crossing in and out of the Chinese border gate for an additional 20 days extension... Is it also possible to do this by going to Hong Kong for a day trip on the last day of the 30, then back to Macau the same day and recieve a 20 day extension on arrival back in Macau? Thanks!

Shaun, you can go to HK to enjoy another 30 days of free stay in Macau. However, I don't think you can do this many times because the immigration officers might think that you try to avoid applying for visa for your longer stay in Macau.
