About:How to Travel to China without a Visa

Family want to transit in Shanghai

I'm a Malaysian with family of 3 with a infant baby, transiting in Shanghai Pudong airport, estimated arrival 12/24 6:25pm, next connecting is 12/25 7:25pm. Can I apply for Direct Transfer visa, because It will take > 1 hour to get off the airplane to find the office to apply for the Direct Transit anyway ?

The time do not allow you to apply for the 24-hour free transit, since it is over 24 hours for Malaysian people. Malaysian people need to apply for a Transit visa in advance for your transfering.

The 24 hours are counted from the scheduled arrival time to the departure time.
