About:Guangzhou Airport Long Distance Bus

I am stopping over in Guangzhou en route to Australia.

I land at 06.30 and depart again at 21.30 on 29th Dec. Can you recommend what to do for the day and modes of transport? I looked into guided tours, however, the one I found seemed pretty expensive.

You can take the airport shuttle bus line 5 to Dongfang Hotel. Then you can walk about 100 yards around to the Yuexiu Park for the sightseeing. After that, you can take the subway line 2 from the park to Haizhu Square, where you can transfer to line 6 to Culture Park. Take the Exit D and walk about 640 yards to the Shangxiajiu Pedestrian street for a shopping. After a dinner there, you are supposed to go back to the airport.
