About:Shanghai - Hong Kong Flights

Hi, is Hong Kong considered domestic from China?

Because when I book my ticket ( DragonAir) it doenst require me to fill in my passport number. So I need to bring both my ticket and passport during Check-in in Shanghai to show my name? Thanks

You need the name and passport number for buying the fligth ticket.

But from dragon air they did not ask for it during the booking process. So what should i do now? because i already have the electronic ticket, and i am departing next week. Thanks

This is what they state in the booking process:
For immigration and security purposes, names should be entered exactly as they appear on your passport. Failure to do so may delay your check-in process, and at times may not permit you for travel. (Use alphabetical characters, excluding punctuation marks, e.g. - . ’ )

They do not mention anything about passport number

To avoid any trouble at the airport, you need to take both your ticket and passport for check-in. The certificate will be required. For your concern on the passport number, you could consult with your travel agency who booked the seat for you.

Means your passport. If you booked online, you can contact the Dragon Air directly.
