About:China Visa Application in USA

If I have a multiple-entry visa good for one year, am I limited to a 30 consecutive day stay?

As a U.S.A. citizen with a multiple-entry 1 year type, am I permitted to visit China for more than 30 consecutive days?

If duration of each stay is 30 days, you still need to exit mainland China before it ends. Then you can enter again to activate your second entry. In a word, you can visit mainland China many times before your visa expires. However, each duration of stay is fixed, normally 30 days.
