Yes, you can. You can enter mainland China from Hong Kong by high speed train from Hong Kong West Kowloon station. It can be Shenzhen, Guangzhou or some other mainland Chinese city. All the formalities, exit from Hong Kong and entry into mainland China are performed at West Kowloon station because both Hong Kong and mainland Chinese immigration authorities are co-located at West Kowloon station premises. Since you have entered mainland China from Hong Kong you can return to Indonesia from Beijing. This is not a problem at all because you are allowed to cross mainland Chinese provincial borders when traveling on 240 hour visa free transit. It is essential that you arrive at West Kowloon station with already bought flight ticket from Beijing to Indonesia because you will be asked to present it to relevant authorities, both Hong Kong and mainland Chinese one. You are advised to arrive at West Kowloon station at least two hours before your scheduled train departure. Have a wonderful journey.
