About:Chinese Embassies and Consulates

Hi, I am a USA green card holder and I want to visit China for a tourism visit?

i please how do I get this solved? I'm trying to visit china for a tourism visit on my vacation but the china consulate office in Newjork asked me to come in with a letter of invitation from any of the tour center in guangzhuo china...Please I need a letter in other to apply for d type. THANKS.

Would you mind tell me which country's passport do you have?
If they ask you to provide an invitation letter, you can try to find a tour agency in Guangzhou to help you to get one. Some agencies provide such kind of service and you are suggested to look for some and consult online.

Thanks so much for your reply...for now i have not visited the embassy. . I was finding out if they will request for any letter Though I have not visited the china embassy yet but will be there any moment from now and start the application...for now, this are the documents I have available. MY green card, my Nigeria pasport, statement of bank Acct , flight itinerary, driving license and hotel reservation. .I guess all will be okay for dem.. only Wana be there for just two weeks.

With all this hop I can get a tourism L type to China from New York china consulate office? I just want to spend two weeks in Guangzhuo china.

According to your description, you need to prepare an invitation letter from any tour center in Guangzhou as the embassy requires, otherwise, you can hardly get a Tourism L. You are suggested to search online and good luck to find a suitable one.

How about someone who has American pasport looking for a china tourism L type??...Do He needs to provide an invitation letter from Shangai china befor they can issue me tourism L type to china?

Hi, I have no ideas about the tour agency, so I cannot provide any help on this issue.

No single F type is mentioned, but I only mentioned the single L type for tourists to China. Since you will visit a friend in China, the single L type is needed.

If one has a American passport, the invitation letter is not needed for applying Tourism L type.
