As far as i know, there is D or G types between Hongkong and Shanghai. You can go to Shenzhen first, and then connect a bullet from Shenzhen.0

The price for the Shenzhen to Shanghai is about CNY593.5 to CNY478.5 per ticket based on different seat class. The trip will take about 12 hours.0
