Which type of visa should i apply for? And is that even possible, to start with?

Well, you can apply for a L, M or F type to start your office. Afterwards, you may try to apply for a Z type if you plan to stay in China for longer time.

The general required documents: your valid passport, an application form, a recent taken photo.
For the L type, you still need a round trip tickets & hotel bookings, an invitation letter from your Chinese partner or so for the M/F type.

It is possible to start your business with either of the three type. Whether you need a Chinese partner, it depends on your plans. You can start your business on your own or with other people.
