Will the 72 hour free transit work in this case?

I will fly from SEA SEATTLE TACOMA WA to PVG SHANGHAI PUDONG, CHINA and arrive at 6:15 pm on Feb 12 and will just stay in that city. I will then leave PVG SHANGHAI PUDONG,CHINA Feb 14 at 4:55 pm and fly to HKG HONG KONG. From Hong Kong I will go to Vietnam and then on to some other countries but not back to China.

Randy, you are eligible for 72 hours free transit in Shanghai as long as your transit period is less than 72 hours.
