If you are from tropical area, I suggest you visit SH in summer, June and July are ok, so you won’t feel uncomfortable with the weather.
Near that city, you can also visit the water towns , such as Wuzhen, Zhouzhuang, Putuo Mountain, and classic gaedens in Suzhou. These places are attractive and full of fun. Hope you can have a good trip there.
