About:China Visa Exemption

I am a German Passport holder, embarking a cruise ship in Tokio, March 2015.

Do i need a VISA to visit Shanghai (33 hrs) and visiting Hong Kong to leave after ( ca 30 hrs) by AIR ?

You need one to visit Shanghai and you are suggested to apply for a Transit G for your stopover in Shanghai.
