About:China Visa Application Requirements

s1 visa process

I am from Nigeria currently a green card holder in USA. I applied for s1 at the Chinese embassy Washington with all documents which the embassy requested from me. But the consular officer wrote on the pickup slip (in call). Told me he will call when the application is processed. It's over a week now, no call or anything. Wondering how long it takes, and I have lived in China before, and even graduated there. Please any help why they have not called might help.

Usually, it takes around four working days to get it processed. You are suggested to contact the embassy directly for asking, because sometimes, the officer may forget to call you if they are busy.

Called but not yet ready for pickup. It's 8days today now. I applied with my 9months old baby, they said hers is no problem because she got US passport. Mine is because it's Nigeria passport... Am just confused
