You need to provide an invitation letter from a Chinese university, Visa Application for Study in China and your personal statement for your application.

The personal statement includes your basic infomation, the city you want to go, your school's name, its address, phone number, etc.

Since you are already a student in Korea, you have an ARC card, right? If so, you are able to apply in South Korea.

Maybe it means that you need to have an ARC card for living in South Korea.
