About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ
Do I qualify if visiting while in Taiwan?
If I'm flying to Taiwan from the USA for a 2 week visit, and am planning to visit a friend in Shanghai for <72 hours during this trip (so would fly from Taipei to Shanghai back to Taipei, before returning to the States), do I qualify for the 72hr free transit?
